Just a Name on a Chart

America’s medical community is in a state of severe decline.  The way medicine is practiced and care given to America’s medical patients has dropped to a level I have never experienced before in my lifetime and I have been hospitalized at least eighty times since the mid 1960′s.

I blame two things:  Government and computers.  There are other reasons, to be sure, but these are the two most prominent to me, at least.  Combine the two and you have something akin to chaos in a medical facility.

Understand:  When a chain of computers is used in any process, that process is only as fast as the slowest computer user within the chain.  Some people’s computer skills are excellent.  Others are not.

RN’s now have those little roll around computers they constantly roll from one patient’s room to another.  Everything they do — to and for the patient — is entered in the patient’s records on that computer.

In the good ole days, before computers, patient care was a hell of a lot faster and, in this semi-professional patient’s opinion,  way more efficient.

Like nearly all businesses, and that’s what hospital’s really are, these days they are trying to do more with fewer employees.

The recent recession affirmed something in business’s collective mind.  The fewer employees you have the wider your profit margin — if you can maintain production at a sufficient level.

Of course, it’s a bit more complicated than that.  The staff must be able to do more, to work harder, and in some cases work longer hours.  They will do it because the number of unemployed people waiting for their job is staggering.  (High unemployment is a boon to business.) The employee knows his employer will have no problems replacing him immediately.  So he produces to the maximum for the boss.

For the company, production goes up, payroll comes down, and the profit margin grows wider — all good for business.

I expect the above will be the new normal in American business — if not in global business.
Hospitals are a service industry.  I know that doesn’t sound sexy today. Nevertheless, at bottom, ALL  hospitals are just that.

Operating any service industry at the bare minimum will, over time, reduce the services and the quality of the services administered by that business.  That’s bad for both the consumer of those services and the business, itself.

Many hospitals have cut their staffs just as other industries have done. In my opinion, there is no way a healthcare facility can avoid reducing the quality of care the patient receives when they don’t have enough people to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently.

To all of the above — add government regulations — and you have a nightmare. And it will only get worse, much worse, under Obamacare.

You know, one of the great inventions in America was the community or county hospital.  They were a source of pride for the citizens of that community.  Admittedly small with limited resources, they were, however, staffed with people from the community whose families would be receiving care in the institution in which they worked.  These small hospitals did yeoman’s work in their communities.

In small communities patients knew the individual members of the staff and vice-versa.  Doctors were referred to by their first names, because the patient went to church with them, attended PTA meetings and Little League ball games with them.  They, too, were an integral part of the community.

Usually the community hospitals were run by an administrator who answered to a board of trustees, who answered to the county commissioners, who answered to the citizens of the community.

Across much of America that has now changed — and change is NOT ALWAYS GOOD!

Many community hospitals have now been leased to large corporations that manage and operate hospitals for profit all over the country.

Suddenly that community (or county) hospital becomes a regional healthcare facility.  At this point, two steps have been taken away from the community where the hospital was born. It is no longer a community hospital and it is no longer answerable to the citizens who ultimately own it.

Then the company running the facility brings in staff doctors.  Some are known by a relatively new title — “Hospitalist.”  They may be great doctors but they have nothing in common with the community and do not have the bond or the trust of the patients they see.

If you are not familiar with the term hospitalists, you’re not alone.  Even my thesaurus didn’t have it.  Turns out the term hospitalist was first coined by Robert Wachter and Lee Goldman in a 1996 New England Journal of Medicine article.  Hospitalists’ activities may include patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital care.  SOURCE:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hospital_medicine 

Many patients attempt to avoid the hospitals employing hospitalists.  I’m one of them.

We have gone from being greeted in the admitting office or the emergency department by our first names to this: “Please give me your full name and date of birth.”   During my most recent visit to a medical facility I reckon I was asked to provide my full name and date of birth several times and hour.  It was even required just to receive my food tray from the hospital kitchen.

In my opinion, we are observing a massive make-over of the healthcare delivery system in America and, frankly, I don’t like it — at all.

Patients are now only a name on a chart or a bar code on a wrist band.  It’s just one more thing about this new America that I don’t like.

Boy Scouts approve plan to accept openly gay members

GRAPEVINE, Texas – The Boy Scouts of America’s National Council has voted to ease a long-standing ban and allow openly gay boys to be accepted as Scouts.
 Of the local Scout leaders voting at their annual meeting in Texas, more than 60 percent supported the proposal.

Under the proposal drafted by the Scouts’ governing board, gay adults will remain barred from serving as Scout leaders.

The outcome is unlikely to end a bitter debate over the Scouts’ membership policy.

Some conservative churches that sponsor Scout units wanted to continue excluding gay youths, in some cases threatening to defect if the ban were lifted. More liberal Scout leaders — while supporting the proposal to accept gay youth — have made clear they want the ban on gay adults lifted as well. SOURCE

Once again I am venturing out into that area of life that may gain me some NEW haters and increase my hate mail and SPAM because, once again, I am about to speak from the heart, political correctness be damned.

The Boy Scouts have just imploded in MY not so humble opinion. The have voted to accept GAY members, and that is going to destroy the BSA.
 

TEXAS FRED

I personally refuse to call it GAY, I won’t bastardize the word GAY by attaching it to the perversion that IS homosexuality. That is where my non-politically correct tilt comes in.

The word GAY – once upon a time it was defined as merry, cheerful, jolly, joyful, blithe, mirthful and happy.

Today it is defined as, when used as an adjective — homosexual (of a person, esp. a man) and when used as a Noun – A homosexual, esp. a man.

Homosexuality is NOT normal, it is a perversion and it should still be treated as such.
From Facebook — Texas Values President, Jonathan Saenz, released the following statement about the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) decision:

“This tragic decision is the result of personal political ideology by BSA national leaders who willing opened the door to allow homosexual advocates to overrun an organization that stands for a code of morality that these intolerant advocates reject. The BSA is a private organization, but it has chosen to place sex and politics above its timeless principles, and the BSA will likely ultimately fail because of this change. We’ll next see aggressive attacks on any BSA units that dare stand for God and religious liberty as those that seek to change the BSA will not tolerate these current BSA principles either.”

I was never a member of the BSA, I never wanted to be. I can give no real reason why but the BSA never appealed to me.

I have a close friend that was in Scouting for years and I know his feelings regarding the perverts that engage in homosexuality, and I also know that my Congressman, Pete Sessions, is/was an Eagle Scout, and has a son that is too if I am not mistaken.

I am anxious to hear Rep. Sessions statement on this move by the BSA and would welcome his comments here on The TexasFred Blog.

I say this, and I am only speaking for myself, but if YOU are a Christian Conservative, if you are as appalled by this decision as I am and if YOU personally believe the BSA is WRONG in their decision, remove your sons from the BSA.

If your Church sponsors a Scout Troop, urge your Church leaders to drop that sponsorship as soon as possible and seek other alternatives.

The morality of this nation is being tested my friends, and the Boy Scouts are being used as a HUGE test group. We, as Conservative and Christian Americans, responsible parents and grand-parents, can’t allow that to happen!

What’s next? Hot pink merit badges?

By now we all recognize that the current occupant of the Oval Office is definitely NOT a type “A” personality.

For a time, the President — and his family — were enjoying, on average, a vacation a month at taxpayer expense.

In a December, 2011, ABC News interview, Mr. Obama told Barbara Walters, “There is a deep down, underneath all the work I do, I think there’s a laziness in me. Obama’s work ethic HAS been called into question from time to time.   Of course, the

person having the temerity to mention it is instantly hammered by the President’s “Press Phalanx.”

But it remains a nagging point of interest what with well over a hundred rounds of golf under his belt and all the vacations and traveling, making campaign speeches — even when he is not a candidate — plus all the travel he does to fundraisers, etc..

It all begs the question:  Who’s minding the store?

You’d think that with the country in the mess it’s in, the Chief Executive would be hard at work making a yeoman’s attempt to solve the nation’s problems and get the country back on course.

Nope!  Ain’t happening.

So — who IS running things?  Darned if I know! 

When there is good news to report it seems everyone in the West Wing is ready and willing to step forward and take credit.  But — when something goes wrong, nobody knows anything about anything — period.  Funny how that works, eh?

I mean, consider the Benghazi mess.  Nobody even knows where the President was!  Well, they won’t admit it if they do.  Of course, all this just makes me wonder — even more — where the hell WAS the President, anyway?

So far as the mess with the AP telephones and the IRS strong arming conservative groups, nobody at the White House knows anything.

So what do they do all day, huh?  I mean besides planing menus, and scheduling fund raisers for the President, and speaking engagements, that sort of thing, do they ever get around to running the government?

In an article at The Washington Times written by Eric Golub the point is made thusly:  “Conversations must begin honestly. It is perfectly legitimate to analyze leaders with critical lenses. People fight and die for this freedom.

Times are serious, and Obama may not be. The question of whether Obama is lazy evokes everything from discomfort to rage. Mr. Golub goes on in the same article to note the following:  “Not one example exists of anything significant happening specifically because of intense Obama engagement and effort.”  Mr. Golub continues:  “Obama loves speaking but appears to loathe governing. Speaking is glamorous. Governing is boring and tedious. He constantly tells everybody else to ‘get to work’ while he is AWOL. Mr. Golub concludes his column with this:  “It insults millions of hard-working Americans of all races to give him unearned credit. Once the platitudes are removed, supporters will not find a single policy accomplishment in his entire first term that has anything to do with him.

Others did the heavy lifting while he took credit and deflected blame.

Mr. Obama has proven that America really doesn’t NEED a President.  Heck, we could have someone sent over from “central casting” to fill the slot for photo ops, and such.   The Press Secretary could handle press conferences — as he does nearly every day, anyway.  And there are any number of polished public speakers in the cabinet.

Maybe we have reached a point in the evolution of the country at which we ought to reevaluate the importance of the Executive Branch of the government. Maybe we ought to change the office of the Presidency to merely a ceremonial post — I mean, now that we know we don’t really NEED a President — thanks to Obama.

Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid.

From its earliest days, even before the Revolution, Americans valued their newspapers and understood they played a crucial role in the issues and events of the times in which they lived. It would take a while, however, before newspapers evolved from highly partisan advocates of the early political factions to their role as watchdogs of government.

 

A literate population depended on them for news that revealed the increasing futility of dealing with a British monarchy and parliament that found new ways to tax the essentially independent colonies. Newspapers became the glue of the new nation, eagerly read in every state, providing news of Congress and the presidency.

 

By contrast, authoritarian governments understood the need to keep a tight control over the news and none more than the Third Reich of the Nazi Party and in the Soviet Union.

 

On May 21^st, Kirsten Powers, writing in the Daily Beast.com, borrowed from words of pastor Martin Niemoller, a German who witnessed their rise to power and who framed the manner in which the Nazis targeted, jailed and killed all those they deemed enemies of the state.

 

His poem, “First they came” was echoed by Powers who wrote “First they came for Fox News, and they did not speak out—because they were not Fox News. Then they came for government whistleblowers, and they did not speak out—because they were not government whistleblowers. Then they came for the maker of a YouTube video, and—okay we know how this story ends. But how did we get here?”  The “we” to whom she referred are the nation’s journalists.

 

“Turns out,” said Powers, “it’s a fairly swift sojourn from a president pushing to ‘delegitimize’ a news organization to threatening criminal prosecution for journalistic activity by a Fox News reporter, James Rosen, to spying on Associated Press reporters.”

 

“Where were the media when all this began happening?” asked Powers. “With a few exceptions, they were acting as quiet enablers.”

 

This is what I and many other conservative observers and analysts of the President and his administration have been saying since 2009 and earlier. “These series of ‘warnings’ to the Fourth Estate,” said Powers, “were what you might expect to hear from some third-rate dictator, not from the senior staff of Hope and Change, Inc.”

 

In his book, Mein Kampf (My Struggle), Hitler demonstrated his contempt for the public. “The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.”  Obama’s 2008 slogan was “hope and change.” He was vague about the change he had in mind, but we have been learning about it since his election.

 

Hitler and his minister of Popular Enlightenment and Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, set up a department that dealt solely with newspapers. An instructive history of the press in the Third Reich can be found on the website of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

 

“When Adolf Hitler took power in 1933, the Nazis controlled less than three percent of Germany’s 4,700 newspapers.” The elimination of the German multi-party political system ended hundreds of newspapers that would offer any opposition to the Nazi Party. What followed in the first weeks of 1933 was the systematic use of radio, press, and newsreels to stoke fears of a pending “Communist uprising.”  This occurred in a pre-television and, of course, pre-Internet era, but it was effective when backed up by the thuggish behavior of Hitler’s paramilitary units that were used to “brutalize or arrest political opponents and incarcerate them in hastily established detention centers and concentration camps.”

 

Not unlike the popularity and influence of Fox News, the well-known Berlin daily, the Vossische Zeitung, was targeted, along with the Berlin Tageblatt. The former employed 10,000 people, but in 1933, its owners, the Ullstein family, were forced to resign and, a year later, sell the company assets. The latter newspaper was owned by the Mosse family that published a number of major liberal papers “much hated by the Nazis.” When Hitler took power, the family fled Germany.

 

This is not to suggest that Fox News or the Associated Press will suffer a similar fate, but it is no accident that their reporters are being intimidated by an administration that has seized telephone records as a message to their owners and editors to curb any criticism, any investigation of what they are doing.

 

Asserting that James Rosen, a Fox reporter, engaged in criminal behavior for doing what any reporter would do, seek out information about the government, has outraged many in the press, but whether they will stand firm or buckle under remains the real question. In Germany, the press became an arm of the Nazi regime.

 

If history is any guide, we have real cause to fear the intent of the Obama administration—one now distinguished by its leadership for having no memory of any steps they have undertaken to oppress organizations that oppose its agenda, mobilizing the IRS and Department of Justice.

 

We are looking into a tyrannical abyss and it is time to be afraid, be very afraid.

Mother Nature’s Message to Mankind

After a tornado tore through Moore, Oklahoma in 1999, people returned and rebuilt their homes and other structures destroyed by it.

Many of the homes, instead of including a basement, were rebuilt on concrete slabs that offer no protection when high winds tear them loose. The elementary school was believed to be strong enough to protect students, but it wasn’t. No lessons were learned from that tornado, although meteorological systems have been put in place to provide some warning.

I did not have to wait for the usual pronouncements from various environmental organizations and individual “experts” that the tornadoes that struck Oklahoma were the result of “global warming” or “climate change”, but tornadoes are a product of weather systems all around the world and have occurred for the millennia of Earth’s existence.

Typical of the way Greens exploit every dramatic weather event, Solon.com, a liberal website, posted an article by David Sirota repeating all the usual environmental lies. “Was the severe weather system culminating in yesterday’s Oklahoma City intensified—or even created—by climate change? That question will almost certainly be batted back and forth in the media over the next few days. After all, there is plenty of scientific evidence that climate change intensifies weather in general, but there remain legitimate questions about how—and even if—it intensifies tornadoes in specific.” This is the worst kind of balderdash; utterly without merit.

Sirota then went on to blame “sequestration” for increasing the impact, citing “an 8.2 percent cut to the National Weather Service”, claiming falsely that there was no way it “could maintain around-the-clock operations at its 122 forecasting offices” and saying it means that its employees “are going to be overworked, they’re going to be tired, they’re going to miss warnings.”

This is the naked politicization of a human tragedy. Sequestration had nothing more to do with the deaths of some twenty children in Moore than the insane killing of children at Sandy Hook school in Connecticut that led to immediate calls for more gun control laws. This is typical of liberals for whom everything is about politics and power.

Sequestration, an idea put forth by President Obama and adopted by Congress as a process so idiotic and drastic that it was believed it would never be allowed to occur. It cuts the rate of federal spending, but not the amount of spending. As with the air controllers and meat inspectors, there have not been, nor will be, massive government employee layoffs. As Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) points out, one result was the curtailment of White House tours, but shortly after it was initiated, the Obama administration was still able to find millions to send to Egypt on top of the two billion it sends annually.

The government has responded to tornadoes and other weather-related events with an alphabet soup of agencies, from NASA and NOAA to FEMA. The National Weather Service (NWS) does its best to track and warn against tornadoes. According to Tuesday’s The Wall Street Journal, “The National Weather Service estimates that 80% of tornadoes are ‘weak’—EF1 or less—and less than 1% are violent, meaning EF5 or higher.” Such tornadoes are rare. “If the storm is upgraded, it would be only the 59^th EF5 since 1950—and the second in Moore…”

On a page from NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory offering “Tornado Basics”, it asks and answers the question “How do tornadoes form?” It answers by saying “The truth is that we don’t fully understand. The most destructive and deadly tornadoes occur from supercells, which are rotating thunderstorms with a well-defined radar circulation call a mesocyclone.”

Greens love computer models to justify their absurd claims, but the Severe Storms Laboratory says that tornado development “is related to the temperature differences across the edge of downdraft air wrapping around the mesocyclone. Mathematical modeling studies of tornado formation also indicate that it can happen without such temperature patterns, and, in fact, very little temperature variation was observed near some of the most destructive tornadoes in history.” Computer modeling is a poor substitute for Mother Nature.

What is known is that about 1,200 tornadoes annually and they generally occur in a stretch of the Midwest known as “tornado alley.” The worst of them do tremendous physical damage and kill people; which begs the question of why people moved back to Moore and rebuilt despite the 1999 tornado.

The real question is why people believe that humans have anything to do with the weather or the climate? Why does anyone believe that carbon dioxide (CO2) has anything to do with weather events or trends? The answer is that Al Gore, James Hansen, and a raft of other climate charlatans, along with countless Green organizations, have been lying to Americans and others around the world.

Since founding The National Anxiety Center in 1990 as a clearinghouse for information about Green fear-mongering, I have been a guest on countless radio shows. I tell listeners that Mother Nature has a message for mankind. It is “Get out of the way. Here comes a tornado, a flood, a hurricane, a blizzard, a wild fire.”

After the dead are totaled and a cost is estimated, there will still be tornadoes in Oklahoma and the rest of tornado alley. The primary lesson to be learned is that Mother Nature is infinitely more powerful than anything humans are alleged to do to affect it in any way because we have zero effect on it.

The other lesson is that America and other nations have wasted billions of dollars on idiotic “renewable energy” such as solar and wind projects that provide unreliable, costly alternatives to the energy on which a nation’s prosperity depends.

The opposition to “fossil fuels” and nuclear energy that Green organizations generate is an attack on human activity, along with their opposition to beneficial chemicals that can, for example, eliminate malaria and other diseases that afflict mankind demonstrates their core belief that it is humans that are responsible for harming the Earth. They are not.

To be Green is to seek to control and reduce humankind through an extensive matrix of lies.

Tornadoes are a “force majeure.” As Wikipedia explains, is “a common clause in contracts that essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term, ‘act of God.”

The Moore, Oklahoma tornado was a force majeure.

IS THIS STILL AMERICA?

Texas Republican Congressman Kevin Brady asked during the IRS hearings last week:  “Is this still America?”

Good Question.  It is a question we have asked with great frequency for a number of years now.

As much as I despise having to say it, we are witnessing an America in decline today. We can sugar-coat it, we can parse it, we can ignore it, all at our peril.

To fix it, we must face it.  And it is a painful thing to look, objectively, at our country today. 

For so many of you who have been born and have attained maturity in America since the 1950′s, I can understand your wondering what I’m prattling on about.

See, you have never experienced a free America.  You have never experienced  that “shining city on a hill” as Ronald Reagan so loved to describe America.  Reagan knew THAT America.  He had experienced that America.  Many of America’s so-called senior citizens living today also remember that America.  I do.

Looking back at the America I was born into before the Second World War — I grew up in a land with unlimited horizons. It was a “can do” country.  It was a land where citizens were not afraid — nor ashamed — to love their country and to defend her.  It was a land where declaring oneself a patriot did not make one an enemy of the state. 

Unlike today’s America, my America was a land unafraid — period. 

Why was America unafraid?  It was not arrogance.  It was, in fact,  a solid belief that America was under the protection of God.

Agnostics will no doubt, question this.  Atheists will, also no doubt, get a chuckle at my quaint belief in “magic.”   But it is a “truism.”  Therefore, it is a fact and stands as such.

From time to time, this old Pharisee is wont to turn his collar around and climb into his scribe’s pulpit and sanctimoniously deliver a, uh, sermon.

Fair warning:  I’m about to do it again … only … this time I will deliver the sermon of someone else.  It is a sermon that, I believe, all Americans should hear.

Where did Reagan’s “shining city on a hill’ reference come from, anyway?

Well we have to go a long way back to before the country was actually founded.  John Winthrop is credited with introducing the phrase into the American lexicon in the year 1630.

John Winthrop (12 January 1587/8 – 26 March 1649) was a wealthy English Puritan lawyer and one of the leading figures in the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, the first major settlement in New England after Plymouth Colony. Winthrop led the first large wave of migrants from England in 1630, and served as governor for 12 of the colony’s first 20 years of existence. His writings and vision of the colony as a Puritan “city upon a hill” dominated New England colonial development, influencing the government and religion of neighboring colonies.

In 1630, Winthrop delivered a sermon entitled:  “A Model of Christian Charity.”  The

It is noted in the same article referenced above that Winthrop’s sermon gave rise to the widespread belief in American folklore that the United States of America is God’s country because metaphorically it is a Shining City upon a Hill, an early example of American exceptionalism. 

Understand that Winthrop drew inspiration for his description of America from the teachings of Jesus Christ.  To be specific, Matthew chapter 5, verse 14:  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Even before Reagan, John F. Kennedy in 1961 (then President-elect), speaking to the General Court of Massachusetts said the following:  “…I have been guided by the standard John Winthrop set before his shipmates on the flagship Arbella three hundred and thirty-one years ago, as they, too, faced the task of building a new government on a perilous frontier. “We must always consider”, he said, “that we shall be as a city upon a hill—the eyes of all people are upon us”. So.  What DID John Winthrop declare on the windswept decks of the Arbella way back then?  As we said above — every American ought to take the time to read Winthrop’s words. They are relatively short but clearly define the mission of the new country.

Three hundred and eighty-three years ago America was warned that we would become what we have, indeed, become should be disavow our mission, as a nation, and turn away from Divine Providence.

From ABC News we learn the following:  “The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.

Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. That bit of news ought to scare you to death!

I find it incomprehensible that anyone, I mean ANYONE, is surprised by the antics at the IRS.

Conservative commentators, conservative groups, conservative political groups have been complaining for years that the IRS was really leaning on them.  Now there is irrefutable proof.  Heck, the IRS even admitted it!

Now we have the added horror of knowing that this same government agency will be administering our healthcare.

THIS is a NIGHTMARE!

I sincerely hope that all the folks who have joked and made fun of those of us on the right side of the political spectrum as a result of our distrust of big government will finally see exactly what we are afraid of from a strong central government.

All last week, I  asked myself this question:  If the government is willing to admit THIS overreach, just how deep IS their overreach and what will we find if we continue to dig especially into the depths of the agencies under the direct control of the executive branch of the government. I shudder just thinking about it.

In the same article from ABC News we also learned:  “Sen. John Cornyn even introduced a bill, the “Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act of 2013,” which would prohibit the Secretary of the Treasury, or any delegate, including the IRS, from enforcing the Affordable Care Act.

“Now more than ever, we need to prevent the IRS from having any role in Americans’ health care,” Cornyn, R-Texas, stated. “I do not support Obamacare, and after the events of last week, I cannot support giving the IRS any more responsibility or taxpayer dollars to implement a broken law.”

Look. We can thank God that the AP scandal became public at the same time as the IRS scandal.  Had it not, I feel certain we would not have the participation of the leftist Mainstream Media in coverage of the IRS mess.  They are heart broken and outraged to learn that their messiah, Obama, could do such a thing to them — especially them — as they have worked so diligently to whitewash the Obama administration. Their lapdog-like adoration of Obama either blinded them to his feet of clay, or they have deliberately chosen to drop their facade of unbiased reporting of the news and throw their considerable resources toward advancing Obama’s Leftist/Progressive/Marxist agenda for America.

The past four and a half years American consumers of news have been subjected to a gusher of leftist propaganda unlike anything the country has ever known.

Now, however,  the low-blow by Obama may, and I say that reservedly, MAY have knocked some sense into them.  But it will take some time for the MsM to regain the confidence of their consumers … if ever they do.

The investigations in Congress will continue and will intensify.  This is only the beginning.  Whether the end result will be the deconstruction of the Obama presidency, or not, remains to be seen.  But investigations of this type have a way of snowballing touching off other investigations by other congressional committees until someone — somewhere — breaks and spills the beans.

We have warned of the overreach of Obamacare.  Many of you are not going to believe just how deep into your personal affairs the government is going to delve under cover of that monstrous law we call Obamacare.

Hopefully, the hearings on the IRS will bring Americans to their senses enough to bring pressure to bear on the Congress to repeal that godawful law.

This is why the election of 2014 is so important.  To repeal Obamacare we will need a Senate AND a House of Representatives to even have a CHANCE of repealing Obamacare.  And then, to seal the deal, we must win the Oval Office.

So — please pay attention to these hearings and learn just what the Obama administration thinks of the American electorate.

This is important, dear reader.  America is on the cusp of a constitutional crisis.  It could be the crisis that brings America down. 

It is imperative that Americans reclaim their country — before it is too late.

With Memorial Day and the 4^th of July (celebrated as Independence Day in the United States) fast approaching, scribes all over the nation are dutifully dipping their quills into their inkwells to scribble the obligatory few lines on the topic: “What America Means to me”, again this year, as in every year since, well, since 1776, I suppose.But, I must confess, I am having difficulty this year.  Each time I pull up to the keyboard, and type those few words, I have to confess, my eyes want to tear up and I get that lump in the throat that I used to associate with singing the national anthem and watching the flag march by, proudly held aloft by a veteran of the US Armed Forces. All of you Vets know exactly what I mean.  It is a common trait among those of us who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Ah, but this year, this year, the would-be tears are not only for those who have paid the price of our freedom with their body and blood – and sometimes even their sanity, it is for what we, as Americans, as a nation, have lost in recent years.

Near the top of my list of things we Americans have lost is PRIDE.  Pride at being an American.  Pride that was earned – that was paid for by the men and women who went before me into the jaws of hell and back to free a people in a country the name of which we often could not even pronounce. It was pride earned because Americans were a people who would lend a hand to their fellow man, far away, who yearned to be free from a brutal dictator.

America used to be thought of as a “can-do” nation.  It didn’t make a lot of difference what needed doing, America could, and would, do it.  It never occurred to us we could fail.  I mean, after all, we were AMERICANS!  We DON’T FAIL!

It was confidence.  Self-confidence, if you will.  We were a nation of rugged individualists who did not rely on government for a damned thing. As a matter of fact, the less government we had – the better. The nation, itself, was founded largely by the outcasts of other nations.  Occasionally, other nations would send their criminals here as punishment.  I know that is difficult to believe but it happened!  They were people who had nothing to lose, with their backs against the wall they had one way to go and that was straight ahead – and the devil take the hind most! Those were the people who formed the bedrock foundation of the people the world would come to know simply as “AMERICANS.”  Unique in the history of the planet – there had never been a nation made of people like those Americans. They were different. They knew it and they loved it.

They were a people who wanted their freedom – and so they took it – and they took it from a world superpower, no less. They created an experimental system of government called a constitutional representative republic and made it work!  Some 80 years later they fell out, over state’s rights, and split into two separate countries and went to war against each other.

The War for Southern Independence was unlike anything the world had seen before and since. They went at killing each other with workman like precision.  On more than one occasion soldiers would cheer and applaud the other side’s bravery in the midst of the battle! More Americans died in that war than in all the wars America has been involved in added together. Some say the way that war ended has much to do with where America finds herself today.  I cannot disagree with that.  As a result of that war’s ending we stand today as one nation containing two countries made up of 50 separate and sovereign states. At some point it is bound to unravel.

America’s downfall came quickly once it began in the early 1990’s.

I have concluded ignorance is the cause of America’s downfall. We Americans are, as a whole, stupid.  We are the least educated, dumbest, society on earth. How else can you account for the people we elected to lead the nation?  I mean… just LOOK at that bunch!  Now… look at what they have done to the country in just the last few months!  There is no easy way to say this – the election of Obama was a huge triumph for ignorance in America.  If you STILL do not believe me, stick around for oh, a year, maybe eighteen months, or so, and watch what is going to happen and THEN tell me I am wrong.

Come on folks!  Look at the fare on your TV.  Most of it is insulting to anyone with a slightly above average IQ. You must understand the comprehension level of the average adult American today is around that of a third grader, or below. The people who produce the garbage on TV have to dumb it down so the average American can understand it!  How else are they going to be able to sell it to the networks as vehicles for their commercials?

Our public school system (the government schools, as many now refer to them) is absolutely pathetic.  It is a colossal failure.  The curriculum has been dumbed down so that we are graduating kids who can barely function in a world that will surely pass them by.  We know what is wrong with our schools and we know how to fix them – but we won’t. You must understand that for the government (we now have in America) to continue to control the reins of power they need MORE dumb Americans – not less. Our cookie-cutter schools are turning them out by the millions every year.

So, if you say America has passed her zenith, I certainly would not argue with you. Today’s America is but a caricature of the real America.  And I really, really, miss America!

White House propaganda secretary Jay Carney finally said something that was true, which I can agree with… “This is not a scandal” referring to the IRS gestapo operations run by Obama henchmen.

He’s right, it isn’t a scandal. A scandal is something to read in the supermarket tabloid for entertainment value. No, this is a full-blown conspiracy to use the full weight and power of all federal agencies to go after and destroy all political opponents of “the one” Barack Hussein Obama.

No matter who you ask about what in this administration, you get the same answer…. “We know nothing!”

The current story involving Obama’s use of the IRS to target political opposition via going after more than 500 patriotic action groups, their donors and their volunteers, is but one piece of a much larger conspiracy to destroy the United States beginning with all who would stand in the way of that agenda.

Yes, the administration has been using the IRS to target all political opposition since taking office in 2009. They went after Tea Party, 912, Patriot, Liberty, Christian, conservative, republican, constitutional, pro-life and anti-global governance organizations.

These efforts were aimed at blocking “tax exempt” fund raising by placing the groups 501 status on hold. But they were also used to acquire lists of donors, officers and volunteers, individual American citizens who were then targeted for audits and delays in their individual tax refunds, a deeper attempt to cut-off the life blood of any political movement, the funding, and intimidate those who stand opposed to Obama.

Heads should roll on the IRS story, starting with everyone in that agency involved in carrying out these operations, those in control of the agency at the time those orders were issued to staff, and every member of congress or the administration who pushed the IRS to act in gestapo fashion as nothing more than a tool for the Democrat Party and Obama Administration. Nothing short of broad criminal prosecution is going to do on this matter.

However, the IRS story is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg…

It has also come to light that Obama’s so-called Department of Justice (DOJ) has been tapping the phones of journalists in the Associated Press (AP) and I suspect that when that investigation gets into full swing, we will learn that Holder’s DOJ was tapping journalists well beyond the AP, as well as republican members of congress.

The IRS story has been reported by independent sources since the gestapo operation began in 2009. The main stream press ignored it all until the main stream press found themselves in the crosshairs of the most criminally corrupt administration in U.S. history.

Once the press found itself a target of the Obama administration via Holder’s DOJ, the main stream press had a sudden interest in multiple “scandals” they had ignored or covered up for more than four years… Benghazi, the downing of SEAL Team 6 on Extortion 17, the IRS story, etc.

But oh, there is more…

It has been reported by independent sources and ignored by the main stream press for over four years now that Obama’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had turned all of its assets on Obama’s political opponents as well.

In a publicly circulated operational report, Obama’s DHS openly sought to identify every freedom loving constitutionally grounded American citizen as a “right-wing extremist” and “potential domestic terrorist…” as REAL Islamic terrorists were being imported to America by the Obama Administration, accounting for FIVE known successful terror strikes on U.S. soil thus far on Obama’s watch.

These anti-American witch hunts have been passed down through the ranks of federal, state and local law enforcement and today, we see these organizations created and paid to “Protect and Serve” American citizens using their authority and power to attack, disarm, incarcerate and sometimes kill innocent law-abiding Americans.

Obama’s Department of Defense (DOD) has been assaulting the U.S. Military through suicidal Rules of Engagement (ROE), Muslim infiltrations and gay social experiments since 2009. They have American blood all over their hands in Afghanistan, Iraq and Benghazi and will likely be found responsible for the unnecessary death of 30 American soldiers in the downing of SEAL Team 6 in Extortion 17.

We will soon learn that the Obama Administration used the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to run cover for the most massive federal election fraud in U.S. history which resulted in stolen elections in 2008 and 2012, funded by hundreds of millions in illegal campaign donations from foreign sources, most of it from all over the Middle East.

We will learn that Obama has been using the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to target political opponents in the corporate world of American free enterprise too. More shoes will drop over the coming days and weeks.

Obama has used the Treasury Department to run up more than $17 trillion in U.S. debt and more than $87 trillion in unfunded U.S. liabilities, all of which threatens to destroy the entire U.S. economic system and the U.S. dollar.

Yes indeed, Obama has been a busy little beaver in his mission to “fundamentally transform the United States of America” and he is indeed, “standing with Islam” just as he promised he would in his ego-driven autobiographies and his 2008 campaign for dictatorial power.

So, let’s sum it all up here….

Imagine what would have happened if George W. Bush had done the following….

·        Used the FEC to cover up massive election fraud

·        Used DHS to identify all Democrats and Liberals as “extremists” and “potential terrorists” setting the entire intelligence, military and law enforcement community on a mission to arrest, disarm, incarcerate and kill if necessary, all Democrats and Liberals

·        Used the IRS to block ALL left-leaning 501 political action committees of just George Soros alone, stopping the billions poured into left-wing causes by simply using the IRS to go after those groups and all of their donors

·        Used the DOJ to wiretap all journalists to control the messaging like Goebbels, and then wiretap all Democrat members of congress in their private chambers in order to hear their every conversation

·        Used the DOD to dismantle and destroy the U.S. Military, leaving our soldiers like sitting ducks under insane ROE on the field of battle and leaving our diplomats unprotected and behind

·        Used the SEC to go after Democrat companies like Progressive Insurance, GEICO, Microsoft and every film and music enterprise in Hollywood

·        And then used the Treasury Department to destroy the U.S. economy and even the U.S. currency so that no “middle class” voter could find a job

·        All while importing known terrorists from around the globe, killing millions of Natural Born Americans via abortion and making room for millions of illegal aliens with an anti-American vision for America…

What would American Democrats have done to George W. Bush had he done what the Obama Administration has been doing ever since illegally seizing control of the federal government on January 20, 2009?

In America, any one of these criminal acts would rise to the level of impeachment in a heartbeat. But all of these acts combined, advanced by numerous key actors and hundreds if not thousands of useful idiots, rises to the level of conspiracy to commit treason. An act punishable by death!

It can no longer be denied or ignored; our nation is under siege…

Every federal agency has been set on a war footing against the American people. Contrary to the steady flow of utter bullshit spewing from the mouths of left-wing operatives, Barack Hussein Obama is directly involved in every decision made in the Federal Government, the buck absolutely stops with him on all of these events.

At a bare minimum, congress should immediately move for impeachment of what is clearly the most blatantly corrupt administration in all of American history. If congress fails to do so, Americans must assume that congress is entirely complicit in all of it, or completely impotent against it.

A VERY Real Constitutional Crisis

Our problem is as follows, and this has been the problem since 20 January 2009…

Barack Hussein Obama MUST be held fully accountable for numerous blatant acts of treason, period. If this does not happen, America is finished forever. This by itself constitutes a “constitutional crisis…” but is again, only the tip of the iceberg.

Due to the massive conspiracy surrounding what can only be titled The Obama Crisis, and all of the key figures involved in that conspiracy to “fundamentally change America,” no one in the constitution chain of succession to the Oval Office can be entrusted with that office today.

This is the very real constitutional crisis America has been living under since 20 January 2009 and every member of congress knows it, and so does every member of the U.S. Supreme Court. This is the real constitutional crisis we face… who can hold these offices once vacated, until a special emergency election can be held?

Because every individual listed in the constitutional line of succession is directly involved in the conspiracy, the cover-up or both, none of them can replace Barack Hussein Obama as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Military.

Many on this list must face criminal charges along with Barack Hussein Obama, including former Obama appointees Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta. Others must resign or be removed from office for their supporting roles in this massive conspiracy.

This cannot wait until the next election, much less until the 2016 election. This ship must be turned about-face right now! Unless the fraud of the 2012 election is rectified, elections are off the table as a solution.

People have to be removed from office, charged with crimes, put in prison and made an example of… and no matter how difficult it is the American people must insist that our government be cleansed of all frauds, infiltrators and criminals.

Yes, the American people have allowed this tragedy to build to a point when resolving this mess will itself be very messy. But not resolving this disaster will be even messier and disasters are not like wine, they do not get better with time.

Is this enough for the average American to wake up and get engaged yet? If it isn’t, America isn’t America anymore and it will never be America ever again.

Who knows the whole truth about why Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty along with State Department officials Chris Stevens and Sean Smith died in Benghazi 11 September 2012?

 It’s now public knowledge that the ever evolving official administration stories on Benghazi are all bold faced lies. It’s clear that the four Americans who were brutally murdered in Benghazi did not have to die. What’s not clear yet, is who is responsible for these murders? Nothing the Obama administration has told the people about Benghazi is true… but who is responsible?

General Carter Ham and Admiral Charles M. Gaouette know the answer to this question. Where are Ham and Gaouette today? Why hasn’t Issa’s investigative committee called these decorated Military officers to testify before the committee investigating Benghazi?

We have known since 30 October 2012 that these two officers…

1.      Were ordered to STAND DOWN in Benghazi

2.      Ignored those orders

3.      Were relieved of duty for refusing orders to STAND DOWN

We know from the unclassified cables between Benghazi and DC and the subsequent Executive Brief, that cables were firing in all directions in the hours before and during the Benghazi attack that ended in the brutal death of four Americans.

General Ham was head of AFRICOM and Commander of the 2011 US-NATO operation to depose Gadhafi in Libya. Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette was in command of the Carrier Strike Group Three (CSG-3), then deployed in Middle Eastern waters during the attack on Benghazi.

Both Ham and Gaouette reported receiving the same desperate cables for additional security and backup that Obama administration officials received and ignored from Benghazi. They did not ignore those desperate calls for help ringing out from the Benghazi installation on 11 September 2012.

No, both Ham and Gaouette attempted to launch ready response teams in the region capable of provided the much needed assistance during the seven hour long assault on Benghazi. Both were then relieved of command for their actions, described by the US Military as “allegations of inappropriate leadership judgment.”

General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready to deploy to Benghazi. Then, General Ham received the order to stand down. His response was “screw it,” – he was going to help anyway.

Within minutes after issuing an order to deploy his ready response team, Ham’s second in command apprehended the General and told him that he was now relieved of his command. Ham knows who issued the order to STAND DOWN as well as the order to relieve him of his command at AFRICOM.

Adm. Gaouette had also received the startling requests for support as the attack unfolded in Benghazi. Like Ham, he readied a response from Carrier Strike Group Three (CSG-3). Gaouette was also ordered to STAND DOWN and like Ham, he decided to refuse those orders. Gaouette readied vital intelligence and communications operations for an extraction effort to be launched by Ham.

 Stars and Stripes reported October 18, 2012 that General Ham is being replaced by Gen. David Rodriguez. They also reported on October 27, 2012 that Adm. Gaouette is being replaced by Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker. The Navy stated that it was “replacing the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into undisclosed allegations of inappropriate judgment.”

 What were the “inappropriate judgments” of these two decorated Military leaders? Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Navy’s chief spokesman, declined to discuss the investigation.

What we know is that these two highly unusual acts to remove two highly decorated commanders is related to the 11 September 2012 strike on Benghazi. We also know that the congressional investigation has not yet called these valiant men in to give testimony.

We know that months’ worth of warnings and requests for additional security at Benghazi we ignored and denied by the Clinton run State Department and that someone gave the DoD order to STAND DOWN when American troops were in the region and ready to assist.

 We know that the Obama administration manufactured a lie about some obscure anti-Islam youtube clip that had nothing whatsoever to do with the events of 11 September 2012 Benghazi. We know that the Obama administration is holding that filmmaker in prison today. We know that Benghazi survivors have been threatened and silenced.

But most of all, we know that Gen. Ham and Adm. Gaouette can provide very real answers to a laundry list of very important questions regarding the Benghazi attacks and Issa’s alleged investigation.

 On 23 April 2013, Five House Committees investigating Benghazi issued a joint Interim Progress Report. In it, all five committees fail to ask the right questions and all five demonstrate a clear intent to keep the truth about Benghazi under wraps, though the report does confirm almost everything stated herein.

The attack in Benghazi of 11 September, 2012 is now almost eight months old and yet, the truth about that attack is still a distant fog sheltered by government officials engaged in blatant obstruction of justice, made possible by the help of a totally incompetent or complicit press.

If you want to know what really happened in Benghazi, demand that Issa’s congressional committee subpoena both Gen. Ham and Adm. Gaouette to testify before the House Committee on Oversight & Government Reform.

And then, recall Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta once Ham and Gaouette have testified.

Someone is responsible for the murder of Americans in Benghazi and the lies that followed. That someone, in fact, all who are involved in the Benghazi murder and the cover up, must be held fully accountable.
